Lake View High School Hosts Spirit Week, Parade and Community Pep Rally for Homecoming Week 

Lake View High School Chiefs and Maidens celebrated homecoming with video- and board-game themed festivities all week long leading up to the game against Levelland tonight, Friday, September 22, 2023, at San Angelo Stadium. For Spirit Week, students and staff dressed up as their favorite video and board games each day and then participated in a parade and pep rally Thursday night.

Thursday evening kicked off with a parade that showcased our SAISD Lake View High School students and staff as well as our Elementary and Middle Schools in the LVHS feeder pattern all donning candy outfits for Candyland Day. The parade ended at Lake View Stadium culminating in the annual community pep rally. The pep rally featured performances by Lake View Cheer, Chiefettes and band as well as announcement of the 2023 Homecoming Court. The court included Dukes Jayden Abila, Sterling Cook, Michael Duran, Adrian Flores, Daniel Ledesma, and Loagan Yeats, and Duchesses Anastacia Brayer, Kelsey Dormer, Maritza Esparza, Sunny Orrosco, Illiana Soria, and Ava Velez. Lake View King and Queen will be announced at halftime at the Homecoming game tonight. 

Homecoming, a tradition welcoming back former Chiefs and Maidens, is alive and well in San Angelo. All alumni are invited to attend the game starting at 7pm at San Angelo Stadium to cheer on our players and student groups.
