San Angelo ISD proudly celebrates four students from Central High School and Lake View High School who reached the highest level a high school musician can achieve through the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) by earning the distinguished honor of TMEA All-State in band, orchestra and choir.
More than 250 high school students from across Education Region 15 gathered at the 6th Annual Rise and Teach Conference on January 30, an event designed to empower and support the next great generation of Texas educators.
San Angelo ISD is proud to announce the Counseling Departments at Austin Elementary, Glenmore Elementary, Santa Rita Elementary, Lincoln Middle School, Lone Star Middle School and Lake View High School have received the distinct honor of being awarded the Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas (CREST) award for excellence in counseling.
After months of preparation, San Angelo ISD FFA and 4-H students showcased their dedication, skills and hard work at the 93rd Annual Tom Green County Livestock Show & Fair earlier this month.
San Angelo ISD highly values all educators. As part of the district’s support for new teachers, it hosts a new teacher academy for elementary and secondary teachers. This academy supports staff new to teaching or those who joined the district from a smaller district or private setting.
During January and February, San Angelo ISD 5th and 8th-grade students will begin planning their transitions to the next stage of their educational journey — 5th graders moving from elementary to middle school, and 8th graders advancing from middle school to high school.
